Ardkinglas House Wedding Photography
Ardkinglas House Wedding Photography Montage from a wedding that I photographed in May 2016.
The house and grounds are stunning and ideal for indoor or outdoor wedding photography. Russell and Lindsay had got in touch with me long before the wedding day to see if I would photograph their big day for them, they had explained that the preparations and after ceremony drinks would be at the house with the ceremony in the woods, I jumped at the chance.
Some photographers may have passed this up due to the possibility of the harsh lighting on the day and the dabbled lighting through the trees during the ceremony. however I knew I could overcome these practical issues.
We had arranged a pre wedding meet so I knew what was happening on the day and it was a great chance to actually meet the couple as they had only arrived in Scotland the day before the meet as they both live in Holland.
Everything went according to plan for the bridal prep, with LeeAnne Fraser doing the make up and the ceremony then it was off to do their private shoot at the ruined mill nearby utilising the surrounding area and then a quick trip up to The Rest and Be Thankful for some wide angle shots to get the stunning view in the photos.
After this it was down to Strachur Village Hall for the reception where everyone enjoyed cutting the cake, speeches, a fantastic feed provided by Argyll Hog Roasts and then an awesome ceilidh to dance the night away.
So I hope you enjoy this little montage and if you wish to see more images from the day you can view their album.
Please be advised that their is music mixed in with this montage, so set your volume to the appropriate level.
