A View From Fairy Hill, Islay

Fairy Hill, Islay

Firstly I would just like to say that I have only recently just figured out how to import my contacts from my old blog to my current one so if some of you get this post in you Reader and are thinking who’s that, then you used to follow me but under a different blog so I hope to see a lot more of you again now that I have got you back 🙂 so here’s my image from Fairy Hill, Islay.

I took this image a while ago but deleted the original edit and started again as I just never quite liked the final edit so back to the drawing board with it I went. The image is taken from Fairy Hill (Cnoc Rhaonastil), on the Isle of Islay, Argyll, Scotland looking in a South Eastwards direction taking in Ardilistry Bay, Loch a Chuic and The Dower House, which is a house on Kildalton Estate built in 1870 that was abandoned and left to ruin but is undergoing a major restoration project at the moment.

I think this is a fitting image for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge of Abandoned Buildings or Barns. Stop by and give her blog a view and a like.

Please take a visit to and like my Facebook Page, it would be much appreciated.
