Ronachan Point, Kintyre

A quick post after returning home from visiting my family and taking a break from editing my latest portrait session. This image was taken at Ronachan Point, Kintyre looking towards Jura and the Isle of Islay. I had hoped to get a longer exposure than the 4 minutes I got but the sun started to peek out of the broken layer of clouds which reduced my exposure time, but I actually like the movement in the clouds in this image, any longer and I think they would have lost the drama and implied feeling of sudden movement, edited in black and white to help the mood of the image.

    1. Hi Cardinal Guzman, had to use a, 10 stop nd filter as the sun was about an hour from setting and kept peeking out from the clouds. Thanks for commenting 🙂
