The weather on Islay the past week has been miserable, so to remind myself that we do get decent weather in the West Coast of Scotland I’m posting an image I took earlier in the year of Bowmore on the Isle of Islay within the Inner Hebrides at sunset. This image has a real surreal look and feel to it and one of my favourites. A 290 second exposure to get the look and feel I wanted in the water and sky, with lots of foreground interest in the rocks.
Long Exposure photography is one of my favourite genre’s and usually when I go out with the camera I usually have a long exposure in mind.
